Every medium has its own unique quality, and I love playing with the strengths of each one. Learning exactly what paints and pencils are capable of is always fun!

Oils are prefect for building layers of rich colour, while acrylics allow me to work quickly, bringing energy (and a little bit of panic), to my paintings. Watercolours capture delicate movements and flow, while gouache lets me play with bold, flat colours in my illustrations.

Colored pencils offer precision to create intricate details, especially in life like portraits, while inks allow for dynamic brush strokes, and sharp lines.
